Pet Health Records
DOGS
The health and safety of our guests is extremely
important to us.
All dogs must be on a leash at all times.
Dogs must have current vaccinations for the following:
•Rabies
•Distemper/Hepitis/Lepto/Parinflenza/Parvo Virus
•Bordetella - every 6 months
•Coronavirus*
*This vaccine is not a requirement however we highly recommend all
dogs that board or are professionally groomed receive this vaccination.
Please consult with your Veterinarian to make the best decision for your
beloved pet.
Puppies must
be current in their series of vaccinations, including the rabies vaccine no less
than 10 days prior to their scheduled stay. Titers will be accepted with proper
documentation.
CATS
• Rabies
• Distemper
• Feline Leukemia (preferred, but not required)
Certification from your Veterinarian is absolutely required for each
pet
before admittance can be allowed.
If your pet requires an updated vaccination,
please make arrangements for the vaccination to be administered no less than
ten days before any scheduled grooming service or lodging time.
Pets without proper records, as detailed above, will be turned away at Check-In.
Parasite Control
Pets guests should be current on some form of parasite control and flea
and tick preventative, as prescribed by your Veterinarian.
Do not bring toys or bedding from home, we provide clean, fresh,
cozy bedding daily.
Pets with fleas or ticks at Check-in, will be turned away or bathed for
flea and/or tick removal, at owner’s expense - $75.
General Health Policies
Pets arriving with any
evidence of coughing, sneezing, or otherwise
apparent signs of illness or injury will not be permitted to stay.
Speak with us first, prior to arriving, if your pets has had recent
surgical procedures so we can discus relevant health issues.
Pet Guest Policy
We are professional, facility which offers first class
interactive care for pets with stable dispositions
who are well loved and cared for family members.
We are not a minimal-care "Kennel", nor do we offer
"cheap" services.
We are an interactive pet care facility for well loved and respected
family pets with stable dispositions.
We DO NOT accept, and will send
home, pets who are destructive, aggressive (biters or scratchers), diggers, climbers
or escape artists, or pets who are heavily medicated or ill, including
pets with extreme separation anxiety or other mental health issues;
or pets who are excessive barkers, howlers or screechers. Special needs pets
should consider other arrangements such as a Veterinarian boarding
facility or a friend or family member.
Bedding & Toys and Personal Items
Standard bedding for pet guests includes cozy blankets
(changed daily), toys,
a bolster or Kuranda indoor bed and a cedar bed in the outdoor run
at no additional fee. Toys are also provided.
We do not accept dog beds or blankets from home due to threat of fleas
or ticks, and inability to launder bulky items. Please label all
leashes, toys, or food/treat
containers for prompt return on departure date.
For reasons of safety, we do not accept rawhide bones or
knuckle/leg bones.
We are not responsible for items
that become lost or damaged while at our facility.
Arrival & Departure
You will be charged for a full day on both arrival date and date of departure.
Payment Policy
We accept Cash or Checks. No billing. Payment in full
is due on departure date or when you pick your pet up from grooming. Returned Check Fee is now $50.00.
Medications
If your dog requires medication(s), we ask that you separate them into a
daily dispenser commonly found at most pharmacies. This will help us in
accurately dispensing you pet’s medicine.
We will administer oral or topical medications to
your pet while they stay with us for a modest additional charge.
Operating Hours
By appointment, no walk-ins.
